请老猫大侠指点

我从美国发了2箱货物给中国的客户. 客户没有提货, 集装箱在中国码头放置了6个月. 而这边美国的船公司要求我负担中国那里的仓储费. 这有道理吗? 我认为应该是中国的收货人来承担吧? 请指教.
