罚款 3000 - 只应为 craigslist 上的广告用词不当！

大家好，有个问题请教：今年年初我在回亚洲之前在 craigslist 上出租我的 condo. 不久前有 自称是 HUD 的官员 email 给我说 我posted 的租房广告里有'只租女性或年轻 professional '的字眼，而违反了 fair housing act 法规。因为我人在国外，所以 email 来去和 HUD 的官员联系。 他今天说要罚款 3000 美金（详见email). 试问有没有朋友遇到同样的问题？处理办法？恳请懂法律的朋友的建议？

2.) Respondent agrees to pay monetary damages in the amount of $3,000.00 via cashiers check_(or money order)

AND THAT THE CASE WILL BE ADMINISTRATIVELY CLOSED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT.
I DECLARE UNDER PENALTY THAT THE SAME IS TRUE AND CORRECT.”

Can you agree to these terms and promptly pay the monetary portion?_:mad:
