关于short-term disability insurance

刚进新公司4个月，就意外怀孕了。公司比较小，10人左右，目前的HR在这个公司作了近10年，没有碰上任何员工怀孕，因此公司也没有什么相应的政策。如果公司没有买short-term disability insurance，我可以自己买吗？到哪里买？从什么时候开始买？我在哪能查到相关政策？谢谢。
