公婆来了不到两个月。老婆一直是家庭主妇，在美国没有上过学，但在国内也是大学毕业的。总之，婆婆对这个媳妇用了verbal abuse，媳妇报警把他们赶出去了。现在，老公也不理她了 (they had problems before)，回家也是半夜三更，只说要离婚，四个孩子也不管。她走投无路，不知道到哪里找到帮助，也不知道自己有什么权利。他老公一分钱存款都没有，每个月一直就是用的光光。现在她一人拖着一堆孩子，也没法打工。现在，她也不知道下个月到哪弄钱付房租，等等。他的工资，她也不清楚去了哪。估计另租房，帮助父母去了。
我很同情她，但不知道如何帮忙。 大家出点主意吧 -
1) if she wants to divorce, how much can she get for child support if she takes all 4 children?
2) according to the state law, they need to separate for 1 year before they can divorce. During this year, how can she make sure her hu*****and is financially responsible for their children?
3) where can she find a lawyer who may represent a woman without any income? - although her hu*****and is working for a big firm and making decent salary.
4) her hu*****and threatens to take all 4 children away and either send them for adoption,or sue her for negligence, if she every leaves home. Now she cannot even go out by herself without dragging all 4 kids... she is a prisoner...what rights does she have to break this situation?
