I had a Severance agreement with my previous employer, which said to keep all confidential information relating to business, customer, trade practices, trade secrets, and know-how of the company.
Now I have several second round interviews coming up. The prospect employers want to know more details about my previous works, including code samples, database designing diagrams, etc. where is the fine line in this area? How can I convince them that I did a superb job without violating the severance agreement?
Talking about severance agreement, it is essentially a deal that they will pay me several weeks’ worth of money, in return for giving my rights to suit them in the future. Is this normal practice? I have changed jobs 3, 4 times, but this is the first time I have seen one like this.
If this is something we sould not discuss in public, my email is supersheep7@hotmail.com.
