you did the best thing!! To get rid of a "bad" person who does not fit his position is 100% correct. You helps other customers not suffer from him/her. We need to learn to take responsiblities in a society, just like if i saw somebody is committing a crime, I will surely call the police. Some friends here surely needs to take a lesson about taking his/her responsiblities.
