求助：如何寻找在美国的失散多年的朋友？

有没有可能通过移民局的资料进行查找？
我只是知道她的中文名字叫“罗捷”，原籍北京，父母80年代初就留学移民纽约。她应该在10岁以前也移民了，现在的年龄应该是29或30岁。
美国华人那么多，真是大海捞针了。但是我决心已下，有生之年一定要找到她，别无他求，只是希望她过得好，幸福快乐的生活着，我也就知足了。

如果您能够提供任何如何找人的方法窍门线索，本人不胜感激！天下好心人一生平安！
