Can I sue Sears?

I opened the Sears credit account last Nov. and bought something about $7. After that, I have not received any bill statement from Sears.
Today, I got the phone call from “Citi Credit Card” they asked me to pay for a total bill of $76 including late fee.
After checking with the address which the Citi Credit Card has, I found that the Citi Credit has the incomplete address of mine, resulting in the failure delivery of the bill to me. What ridiculous is they sent me some ads every month.
I argued with them, they insisted that you purchased something and you should remember that item and check back to pay. (I purchase hundreds of items every month, therefore, it’s impossible for me to remember everything I bought during the past month and it’s impossible for every person.)
Now, they wait until 5 months later and called me to tell me to pay 12 times the original price. Evil!
Dear friend, did you ever meet this kind of situation and what did you do? I really really think it’s not or not my full fault!

Any suggestions will be highly appreciated!
