莫名其妙的闯红灯罚单,怎么准备上法庭?

我开车在一个红灯前停下,等绿灯后才通行.我太太也在车上,我们都确信没有闯红灯.可是警察上来说我闯了,还开了罚单.我没有承认并拒绝在罚单上签字,现准备上法庭.

请问是否值得上法庭,如果我plea not guilty,法官判我输了,会有什么结果.非常感谢.
