I think it is reasonable to pay these taxes even if you will leave US in the future. For example, the children of Chinese take tuition-free education before high school even they have no any income, or a chinese visitor might need emergency medical treatments, or a woman might need to deliver a baby in a hospital if she has no or lower income. All the money is paid by the US government. Then, the money you get is from US, not from China.
