IRS

帮朋友问一下。 朋友在报税的守候， 多报了claim and credit 而没有任何文件支持这些claim and credit。 这样多要了两三万的退税。现在IRS没有退这些税钱， 但是
给朋友来了一封信，说是要继续核实和调查。请问我朋友会有很大的麻烦吗？我想不
至于被charge crimial offense吧, 至多civil penalty。 因为钱的数额不是太大，
IRS 不屑这种“小鱼“。 大侠们以为如何？ 多谢。
