please give me some advices.

last wednesday, my son's friend (16 years old)came to my home and played after school. He always hide in my masterbed clothset, he stayed there for almost 15min according to my son told me, finally my son found him standing in the clothset holding my bag (which I put about $560 on it), and then he came back home afterword. until yesterday morning, I need the money but I could not find it anywhere, I asked all my family member, they didn't see it. my son's told me the story above. this boy stole my son's ipod one month ago, he didn't tell him but when we asked him, he said he just wanted to transfer some songs,and we asked back, this time, he is very suspcious, but for the money I don't know how to do it, I can ask if you took the money, give those to me, but I really don't have the hard evidence, please help.
