I believe this 25/25/50 joint venture is a potential bomb. A young couple I know had such arrangement. After 4 years of numerous fights, they sold the dream house and bought 2 smaller ones. Both the young couple and their parents are very good people. But it is extremely difficult for them to get along when there is financial interest involved from different parties.
