我该怎末办（hit and run)

今天从停车场倒车的时候，听到一个声音，想可能是撞到旁边的车了，就下来看，那辆车的车头朝外，可能是我到的时候碰上了，但是我查看我的和他的没有任何的刮痕和凹陷。因为我的车子比较脏，只是从脏得上边看出来灰尘没有。当时很犹豫，在那里等了半天也不知道怎末办，后来就走了。但是现在很是担心。考察了一个发现这是hitandrun很是严重的。
请问大家，这种情况如果有人看到的话是不是会告送车主我的车牌号，车主会不会告我呢？后果有多严重呢？谢过
