my hu*****and started working for a company in TN last September. my hu*****and had worked in a company in GA from last JAN-August. So we have one GA-based income and another TN-based income. Since TN does not have the state income tax, so we just need to pay GA state income tax for GA-based income only? Am I right?
the problem is me and my two children had lived in a house in GA for year 2006.My hu*****and started working in TN from last September. My hu*****and is main bread winner in the house. I only got about $700 during period my hu*****and worked in GA from a part-time job, but we always file married jointly tax return. Moreover, my primary residence home should be considered as being in GA because we just bought the house this January in TN. My hu*****and rented a apt in TN during the last Sep to Dec.
Thanks a lot!
