Hi there,
Last Friday I got a speeding ticket in Michigan. I was told that I drove at 89 mph on I-94 with a speed limit 70 mph. This is my first speeding ticket. My goal is to avoid a bad driving record and/or an increase on my insurance. I don't mind to pay the attorney fee. However I have no knowledge at all about this and have the following questions at present.
1. What's the best strategy?
2. I am not a native English speaker. If I have to go to a court, is it advisable to hire a lawyer?
3. There are lots of "Fight a speeding ticket" ads on the internet. Any recommendations?
Thanks in advance.
Mike
