My wife wants a divorce

My GC takes a long time to process. My wife suggests we divorce and that she marries an American citizen and then divorce later. I have a feeling that she just wants to leave me. What can I do to stop her? If I refuse to divorce her, will that stop her from leaving? Her passport has nothing under marriage status. Please help
