Single home ownership的利弊， 您大概都知道，不用我讲了。

Taownhouse and condo是各户拥有自己的房地产，common areas大家一起拥有，选个board管理。每月各户交一定的管理费。如果community有大的开销和special assessment etc.，要经过大多数owners同意。

CO-OP的住户不拥有房地产，只拥有shares(和公司的stock ownership一样). 您买了GE的stock,您有权利管GE吗？那为什么有人买CO-OP的房子？location, location, location!

CO-OP投资也很赚钱的。DC的水门公寓5年前一个睡房要价20万，现在也长到40-50 万了。
