If not, you were not arrested. The detective merely
wanted to ask you some questions. As long as you are not
charged, your record is still clean. In some sense,
you maybe lucky as long as you are truly innocent because
there were so many potential witness on the same plane.
You don't need a lawyer if you are not charged. But you
must be careful about what you say to the detective.
