Of course. You can.

记得有政策, H1B不连续的必须在境外呆一年什么的
It is talk about you are out of status because of H1b inside America in a certain time. If you are out of status in America for over 180 days, you may not back from three to ten years.
For your case, I do not think it will take one year. I know a guy came back within one year.
