Put Wife's Name on House Title

Simplest, put the wife's name on the house Title. So any loan or second mortgage on the house will need the signature of the wife.

Obviously, the wife in the story has no name on the house, that house is viewed as the hu*****and's property only, unless the wife can prove that she also contributeed the mortgage payments.
