I have an accountant file my tax return for 2001. However, I got a notice recently and were told that there exists mistakes, i.e. the tax form the accountant filed is not correct. I thus were told to pay the difference plus the interest.
Do you think the accountant should be responsible for the mistake? If it is, then how and what the accountant should be responsible for, the total or just the interest? Any suggestion will be highly appreciated!
