Can I apply for a LLC?

Dear friend,


I am trying to find out if I can register a LLC as a Chinese citizen. I know many corporation doesn't allow foreigners to register. Then I can get a federal tax no. through LLC and earn some income at student status?

Can I apply a federal tax number/ EIN through DBA? or only LLC? The purpose is the tax no. not associate with my social security no.
