Hi, friends,
I'm F-1 student, last year I worked on campus and what I earned was less than the treaty between China and US so I did not pay any tax. And the HR office in my school sent me an 1042-S form instead of W-2 form. 1042-S is the form of Foreign Person's US Source Income Subject to Withholding. My question:
Could I submit this 1042-S form to IRS instead of W-2?
Appreciate your reply

问你的HR, 一般说不给W2用1042S报1040NR就够了
