hi, I am not sure about your State but my State does not require alimony to be paid even if the wife does not have job. I would suggest you go to the internet to find out how much you can get alimony and child support based on his net income in your State. You know each State is different. I was in your shoes before and I understand sometimes things just can not work out. But if I were you, I would try to find a job first to see if I could be independent on my own. You know one of the reasons I love to work is it gives me the confidence and the bigger picture of my life I can never get if I am a housewife.
