替朋友请教一个问题，请帮帮她， 她真的太难了

朋友在洛杉矶， 她LG在NYC打工， 他们是在NYC结婚的， 然后我朋友要在这边学习就在洛杉矶呆下了， 本打算她LG打工赚点钱也过来的。 结果刚分开一年， 她怀疑LG有了别的女朋友， 她要她LG过来， 或者她回去， 结果现在她找不到LG人了。 已经半年多了， 她都急死了。 现在也心灰意冷了， 想离婚。 请教一下能自己办离婚吗？ 她找不到她LG了，应该怎么办呀？ 这情况太复杂了， 可是大家帮帮忙吧。 她现在真的是很痛苦的生活着。 谢谢了
