I have a friend who is a physician (B) and shares an office with another physician (A). Both physicians are independent, no one is the employee of the other.
They can both charge medicare for most their services they rended. However for one service, only A can bill medicare, B can not directly. Now A billed medicare for B's service. B should get credit for his service even though A collected money for B's service.
Is that clear?
