what I meant was: While you are driving (put the gear in D), the transmission is supposed to automatically shift from 1 to 2, then from 2 to 3, then into overdrive. When the car is going at 70 MPH, the engine should be revving at about 2300 RPM(for V6). If there is "Transmission converter excessive slip" the engine should rev at a speed much higher than that.
