How to change the Deploma to Associate degree?

I had studied 3ys in Zhejiang university and got the associate degree, but the notorization translated as a Deploma ten years ago, because they had prepared form and they thought they were the same thing. Two years ago I tried to fix the problem, they told me the notorization has been registered and they couldn't change it.I want to go back to school now, the program only accept the associate degree, anyone could tell me what should I do now?
I graduated in 1995 and the school certificate has a certified number.
