可恶! BANK of America officer's trick?

Please advise.

I visited a Bank of America branch in early July and joined my hu*****and's checking account with Bank of America. My hu*****and has this account for over 10 years. The checking account is the only account with BOA, and he never opened a credit card with them. I had a credit card account with them but already cancelled it some time ago. So, the only documents we signed that day were to join me to my hubby's account. We never sign any documents to apply for a credit card.

However, around 15 days later, BOA sent me a new credit card. Confused, I called BOA to cancel it and told them I never applied for a card, how it could happen. The rep. said she didn't know.I went to the branch again to ask the guy whom we signed the documents with, but the guy said he didn't know. I told him my hubby and I never applied for a credit card with BOA.I said it would affect my credit score.(one can't have too many credit cards and I have had 4 already) He asked me to call the customer service.

Then, again, 10 days later, BOA sent a new credit card, this time, it was for my hu*****and!! Isn't it 可恶?

How could such stupid things happen? I suspect it is the bank officer in the branch (the guy) who did that, he wanted to earn commission or to meet his performance quota and thus prepared some false documents under our name.

Any guys have encountered this? what should we do? Their customer hot line can't do anything about this ;((
