请帮助下我:)

很郁闷,上星期开车被警察发现大灯没关,被截停,被告之如何关闭大灯后,警察随手那么一照,当时天黑了,发现我的大女儿没坐在儿童专用椅上,小儿子倒是坐在CARSEAT里,警察给了个单子,让我10月10日之前去法庭.
到了那里一看,直接认罪就要55$外加罚款,不认呢,就要出庭,已经被安排到这个月的20号.
我家里有那个椅子,问题是女儿很难缠,自己会解开.她不愿意坐,没办法,拿到单子的第二天我就又去买了个儿童专用椅子,和家里原来有的不一样,这回吓唬她几次,她倒也就老实坐了.
家里就靠我老公养家,我又是H4不能工作,这是拿驾照四年来第一张单子,俩孩子负担过重,请大家帮忙,我到时候上法庭怎么说才有利啊?
忘记说了,在纽约州的水牛城.
