问个关于英国骗子的技术性问题

OK，英国骗子给你写一张大支票来换你的小的，但是是真的支票。但是技术上怎么可行？一般来说，任何一个人，特别是中国人肯定会在对方的支票CLEAR以后，现金真正进入自己帐号以后才会写小支票。这是常识。
但是现金如果能够进来，就不是假支票了。也就是说英国骗子假设人家随便见到一张支票就会认为是真的？
这种骗子能成功吗？
