to 單身老貓, help!

we bought a house about 6 months ago. the previous owner didn't disclose anything about the house, we thought it was fine. the inspection guy didn't say anything major, then we bought it. last week, the celling leaked. after checked up, it seemed it came out of the ac. then we had the ac guy came over,the guy told us, there should be a second drain pan which we didn't have to catch the water in case the first one got clogged. that was why our ceiling was leaking. monday we had the second pan installed. while doing it the ceiling fell off. then we knew it has been leaking for a long time.there was two layers of sheetrock which it should be only one layer.the previous owner only had the house for two years. before we bought the house we asked them to have the ac checked, clean and serviced.the ac guy we called told us they only cleaned the outside of the ac. our questions are:
1 what kind of lawer should we looking for if we want to go to court( in case they don't pay for the repair)?
2 is there anyway we can ask the previous owner take back the house?
3 by the law, there should be two drain pans and we only had one, the inspection guy didn't say anything,can we sue him too? if he told us, we might have the ac fixed or we don't buy the house.
4 how long does the lawsuit need to take? and how much does it cost to finish the lawsuit?
5 what do you think we should do?
