This could be some cons trying to scam

some money out of you. They try to scare you first, then ask you for some small amount of cash to settle. The way they said "police will come tomorrow", that is a give away. These are crooks. Police will never come for something like this. Ignore the man. As a matter of fact, use a public payphone and check out who they are. Ask their information and tell them your insurance company will contact them. I bet they will not tell you. Don't give out you personal info and phone numbers. Remember.

To be sure, take pictures of your car all around and make sure where there are damages for your record.
