my daughter's finger gets hurt in museum

help please,
when we visited one museum, my daughter put her finger between the wall and the closed door, then one kid came to the door and opened the door, her finger got hurt badly and she had 8 stitches in the emergency room. we have to stop the trip (we were with the tour group) and back home.
how should I handle this? who is responsible?
The museum did pay the one night hotel stay (we left the next day) and the bill for the emergency room. But the doctor told that my daughter's finger will have permanent scar.
