请教家庭暴力

遇到家庭暴力案子，材料已经送到"Domestic Violence Unit", LP已经同意和好，请问怎么能消除案子的影响啊？如果要上法庭，是不是LP不出庭就肯定能DISMISS？案子如果上了法庭以后怎么去“expunction the record”？
