No, I don't have a relationship with the roommate. The fact is she didn't like me and ask me to leave in a month, right after I paid her the rent for the month of May, on 05/01. So I found a room to rent somewhere else on 05/02 and notified her on the same day. I am planning to move into the new apartment on 05/07 and offered to pay 25% of the rent and get back the unused 75% back when I leave. But she gave me back the security deposit and one half of the 75% back and keeping the other half to cover her loss in case she can't rent out the room on 05/08. I don't think it is fair because there is no prior agreement, oral or written. She was telling one story when I moved in and changed it when I am moving out.
