老鼠会 comes and goes with all kinds of formate and products, but two things are essential:
1: Pyramid scheme: only the few on top of the pyramid can make some money, and of course that's exactly the examples they use to lure newbies in.

2: The so-called members and their relatives/friendes are the real customers of their products. If you want to estimate how much money you can make, it's easy: just count how many friends and relatives you have that you can risk losing their friendship. lol.

The most notorious 老鼠会 is WFA, and you can check some testimonies and law suits from their victims.
