CA is a community property state -- all property gained during your marriage belongs to the marital community. In other words, no matter under whose name, money gained during your marriage belongs to both you and your hu*****and.

If your hu*****and has a limited liability company, or the like, creditors of the company cannot go after your personal property.

Consult a corporate lawyer in CA to make sure that your hu*****and is not personally liable for his company's debt.
