Mine was only a week when it was hit!

I don't think you can ask for damages to the value of the car, what the insurance company will do, because it's a new car, is to replace all damaged part with new parts, and restore it to 'pre accident condition'.

Has your claim been settled yet? If not, take the car to a body shop of your choice, and don't take any money from the insurace company. They quickly offered me $2000, but in the end, the damage was $4000!
