lp与黑女人口角，被charge "Breach of the peace"，严重吗？

lp( J2 )在一家店里打工，遇到三个黑女人，教养很差，把东西翻的很乱还嘲笑lp说她应该跟着收拾好。三个黑女人带了两个小孩，把货架上的东西都碰倒，lp让他们不要再碰了。结果她们就发飙骂人，一直不停的骂，lp不会骂人，但很生气。因为黑人贴得很劲，喷到lp脸上吐沫，lp就没忍住吐了回去。她们就拿一些货品丢我lp，这时另一个店员过来帮忙，踢了几个女人中的一个，反被三个人打，脸上有抓痕。后来被别人拉开，黑人就走了，但并没走远，还在附近的其它店里买东西。

店老板开始不在，回来看到另一个店员脸上的伤，而且黑人临走还摔了店里的一些东西。所以就报警，警察询问的时候那个实际打架的店员一口咬定自己被打没动手，所以没有收传票。而我lp英语不好，不懂分辩，承认了曾经吐了那个黑人，然后就吃了传票(summons & complaint)，要求按时出庭（PTA）。指控罪名就是breach of the peace, 属于B类的misdemeanor。同时那几个女人也被指控该罪名并要求一起出庭。

我们对美国法律系统一点都不了解，不知道这种事情需要不需要请律师，而且明显是几个黑人到店里捣乱，为这个留个记录实在委屈。还有B类misdemeanor会影响以后的签证和绿卡申请吗？多谢指教！
