Is it legal to monitor power company's work with home video without sound? (it is different from alarm system) When I put in emergency call to repair in the power comapny, I used home video to monitor his work. He tried to fix it but he couldn't. Later, he said I need an expert to do the job. But, right now, the company claimed the person came to investigate and found the company was not responsible. The person was not a repair tech, he was supervisor. They are not honest. I mentioned that I had home video to show that he was working on the panel to fix it. Their answer was that I had no legal base to monitor with video at home. I was not angry with a few hundreds dollars loss. I was really angry with their dishonesty.
