If you have stayed in the US for more than a year, you can file the complaint in the local court in the state where you are. Even your wife is in Canada and your child in China, if your seperation is long enough to meet the requirement in your state, your divorce will be granted.

If your wife and you agree to divorce by an agreement for noncontested process, you can get divorce either in the US or China. Most states in the US will recognize the foreign divorce decree. Therefore, your divorce decree issued by the Chinese court will be regarded as valid in the US.
