lawyer

Hi:

This is the first time I worked with a lawyer.

I wanted to create a last will. I called her, and get an appoitment immediately. At the end of the meeting, she said that she will forward me all the document. But did not mentioned when.

Now almost one week passed, and no responses from her at all. I called her. She said that she has a lot responsibilities, and drafting the documents usually takes a bit longer than just a few days. Besides, she will leave for china in 5 days. She said she will get back to me after she comes back from China. If she stays in china for 5 days, then it will take at least three weeks to get a second appointment, not mention to get a will signed! What a pain!

Is this normal? Should I look for another lawyer?
