美国的联邦税欠款超过多少要付罚金?

请教一个问题: 美国的联邦税在申报时,如果owe的数目大于一定,要付罚金.我记的好象是$800.00,在一月15前
如先付一些,可免罚金.不知我记的数目对不对?
