请问单身老猫一个婚前财产的问题

我老公说他可以把他婚前的财产5万元全给父母兄弟，我结婚来美国时没什么财产所以我没钱寄我家里，我很气愤，他以前可不是这么说的，结婚时也没办什么公证什么的，两人的钱一直存在公共帐号，我也工作了，怎么只能他寄不能我寄，这两年他已经给家里3万美金了，我要寄个2000美金他都不让，说我没有挣那么多钱。我想问，婚前没有协议也没有公证，难道两人财产不是公共的吗？我不是说他不该支持以下家里，可是他对自己人这么大方，对我家人确实一毛不拔，我实在想不通。
