nothing to worry. If you don't mind to spend some time, just tell him you can go to the court with him. Being sued doesn't mean you will lose anything. Personally I think he is bullshiting. However if I were you, I will probably offer him $50 just to avoid any trouble (going court cost you half day, depend on how much you make. I personally don't want to go :). If you do, ask him for a statement of never bothering you again.

If you have never been in the court, I'd recommend you go there. During the half day hearing (with other ppl and cases), you will learn lot. and believe me, many of them are interesting.. :)
