求教单身老猫！

因欠信用卡公司钱， 但我不想file for bankrucpy， 可也无力还， account已被送去collection agency，我和他们试着去settlement， 但不成功， 现在他们就要 file a civil suite against me。 想请教单身老猫，a civil suite 得程序是怎样的（I am in New York）， 从他们file到我收到法院的bill大该要多久， 我可不可已plea not guilty 而要求上庭。 还有， collection agency 是不是可已直接从法院拿来judgement而不需经过上庭。
