Read the English part again

The wording in the contract says you need to pay another $1800 once LC is approved. This means you need to pay regardless if you want to continue or not. As long as your LC is approved, you need to pay another $1800.

This payment plan is very common and normal. I do not see anywhere that your lawyer cheated on you.

In contrast, I see that you try not to pay as contract specifies once you decide not to continue with your LC.
