The company, not AT&T wireless products or plans, is on sale. Does this ring a bell?
Potential bidders are Vodaphone, Cingular, Nextel, and NTT Docomo. T-mobile said no interest.
Spint's technology is very different from AT&T's. Verizon is part of Vodaphone, and the same technology as Sprint.
